We fell from the stars, rose up from the sea. What could be more magical than creation? Ever evolving, it is all around us. This is my constant joy.
Ten years of living and working among Aboriginal people in the Central Australian desert regions, where art and life are inseparable, was what inspired me to paint. Their kind inclusion allowed me to develop the skills I now use to expand and reflect my own cultural interpretations.
Observation of nature and my own fertile imagination is my major inspiration. Other influences include Lena Pwerle, Hundertwasser, Gaudi and Hayao Miyazaki.
